Alaska Team Recognized For Safety Measures
Alaska Team Recognized For Safety MeasuresActus Lend Lease enters into a five Year partnership with AKOSH.
Actus Lend Lease, Alaska was recently recognized with the “CHASE” (Construction Health and Safety Excellence) Award and Banner for the team’s efforts to reduce workplace injuries and incidents.
The team was also acknowledged for its training and awareness programs which are shared with the trade workforce both on the project and within the community.
The Alaska Division of OSHA (AKOSH) has a Partnership Program which highlights the following:
 | Recognizing exemplary performance in the workplace by teaming with select contractors to be the frontline representatives of the ultimate goal of AKOSH, to reduce workplace hazards and incidents, making it a safer place for the workers and the public.

| Providing a consultative relationship between AKOSH and Actus Lend Lease, where Actus can benefit from AKOSH’s experiences and recognition and in turn AKOSH gains knowledge of the Actus programs and measures to become Incident and Injury Free. AKOSH can then share these measures with other contractors around Alaska.

AKOSH will visit all Alaska sites with the sole interest of helping to improve awareness of any hazards and to work collaboratively as a team to continue to improve on performance.
Previously, there were only six other Alaskan contractors to partner with AKOSH.media
