Soaring Heights Communities Opens New Homes at Holloman Air Force Base
Recently Soaring Heights Communities officially opened its doors to the first series of new homes at Holloman AFB. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held to commemorate this milestone.

The homes are 20-40 percent larger than many of the homes Airmen have been living in and feature a variety of upgrades including: roomy master bedrooms suites, open floor plans, spacious kitchen with islands, energy efficient appliances, technology niches, and covered porches for integrated indoor/outdoor living are just a few of the highlights the new homes have to offer.

Actus is not only building new homes, but developing entire new neighborhoods by designing communities with pedestrian friendly streets, spacious community centers, sports fields, playgrounds and other amenities focused on easing the lives of Military Families and allowing residents the opportunity to get to know one another.

During the initial development period, Actus will build 388 new three and four bedrooms homes and renovate an additional 420 existing homes at Holloman AFB. Construction at Holloman began in July 2007.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Col. Jeffrey Harrigian, Commander 49th Fighter Wing, stated, “This is about our Airmen and the type of housing they deserve. Together we will make sure our Airmen are taken care of.”
